Kelsie Newby is 25 years old (again) and lives in the middle of nowhere in North Carolina.
She is a member of Living Word Family Church where she is currently the Administrative Assistant to the PMT.  (Pastor’s Ministering Team)
She grew up in a small town in Iowa where she was always getting into trouble. Not just with her family, but with the law. She got mixed up with the wrong crowd and started doing drugs.
In 2002 she went to North Carolina on vacation. She fell in love and stayed. She quit doing drugs and started to turn her life around but by that time she was in a horrible relationship that was leading to a dead end.
One evening she was near the end of her life when she cried out to Jesus to save her. Because He is an almighty God, He did.
She escaped her relationship and moved to Raleigh where she met some people from Twentyfour 7. She fit right in with the youth church there. They all welcomed her and she felt right at home.
On August 9, 2003, she gave her life fully to Christ. Her whole life turned around and she finally knew what she was called to do.
She started attending Living Word Ministry University and received her Diploma in Theology in 2005. She plans on continuing her education there.
She has a heart for missions, world-wide and right here at home. She loves sharing the love of God with people so that they may also come to know what a loving God He really is. She has been to Nicaragua and Costa RIca and plans on going to the ends of the earth to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
It is her hope with this blog that you, too, may come to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. She wants to share what she has learned so that maybe someone else may see just how amazing it is to serve a loving God.
